At the end of this season, Coach Jim Waller will be hanging up his cleats (yes, I know it's an old cliche) for good. He's been coaching since the late 1970s, and in 1990 took his team all the way to the state championship game.
From talking with Jim, he plans to coach one more year of JV basketball, which will be son Brooks Waller's senior year, then retire for good.
After graduating from OHHS, Coach Waller came back to teach, so we know that purple flows in his veins. I'm sure he gets some of it from his dad, who also coached sports and is a former Athletic Director for OH.
