Here are OH results from the State Swim meet last weekend in Federal Way. OHHS sent two swimmers, Freshman Ciara Hu and Sophomore Amanda Struebel (who is from Coupeville). Hu competed in the 200 IM and 100 butterfly while Streubel was in the 100 backstroke.
Ciara finished 18th overall in the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.50, and finished 21st in the butterfly event with a time of 1:02.66.
Amanda was had the 11th best time coming out of the prelims with a time of 1:02.01 and swam in the finals. Although her finals time was .3 seconds slower, she moved up a place to finish 10th overall.
Congratulations to both girls for their efforts, and congrats to all their teammates who supported them as they swam their way to state.
