The varsity softball team again hard a hard time getting runs on the board in the game against Monroe on March 30th. Kayla Ratliff and Kaylee Meders each had a hit, but Monoe batters knocked off 4 home runs on their way to a 17-0 win.
On the bright side, starting pitcher Ratliff recorded 4 strikeouts and only 5 earned runs while walking only 2 Monroe batters.
The JV played hard, but struggled with pitching, allowing 10 walks and two batters hit by pitches. Monroe took advantage of the Wildcat struggles, winning 13-3. On offense, Reily Sanderfur and Shelby Kirk hit well, and the team gets a day off before resuming practice.
