Softball 5-7 @ Stanwood

The OHHS Softball team went to Stanwood on May 7th to face an undefeated Spartan team, and found out why Stanwood has not lost any games. The Spartans won the game 16-0.

HOWEVER

The JV game had some fireworks as well. Pitcher Emily Hunt struck out 11 Stanwood batters, gave up only 2 walks and 3 hits as the Wildcats won the game 28-1.

Nichelle Trumbull was 3-7 with 3 RBIs, scored 3 runs and stole 5 bases.
Kasey Roberts was 3-4 and scored 6 runs
Kasie Brown scored 3 runs and had 3 stolen bases
Alyssa Siwa went 2-3 with 4 RBIs
Shelby Kirk was "only" 3-6, but drove in 5 runs
Brittany Johnson was 3-4 and scored 5 runs.

The softball team finishes up their season on Thursday the 14th at Hillcrest Elementary, making up a rained out game against Arlington. All the seniors will be presented before the game so come down and cheer on the girls!
