Also scoring points for North Whidbey were Jeremy Vester with 6, Gage Eccleston 5, Jairus Davis and Khaleel Smith with 4 each and Hunter Adams with 2. For the Oak Harbor Panthers, it was Joseph DeGuzman with 7, Chris Humphries 6, Brent Mertins and Daniel Wolfe 3 each, and Michael Lauersdorf and Sebastian Ceaser with 2 each.
The 8th grade game was nearly the opposite of the 7th grade game, with OHMS pounding the visiting Cougars 63-20. Leading the Panthers were Bobby Grace and Zack Gibbs, each with 12 points.
