The girls Tennis team won again, convincingly, over visiting Monroe on Monday, April 19th. The 4 singles players - Cady O'Dell, Erin Neilon, Laurin Rico and Clarissa Abadesco all won their matches easily to seal the win. In doubles, the sister team of Darcy and Jennifer Fremd won the first set 7-5, lost the second 4-6, the squeaked out a close 10-8 tiebreaker win to give OH a 5-2 victory.
OH won all of the extra matches. Laurin Rico & Clarissa Abadesco won 8-0, Micole McKenzie and Joyce Abides won 8-4 and Jennifer Bowers & Molly Van Dam won 8-6.

At Monroe, the score was reversed, with Monroe winning 5-2. Coach Brown commented that the match was fairly competitive throughout and at one time the JV team was on the verge of pulling out the win.
1st singles Cassie Gianino won her first set 6-2 but had to go to tiebreaker to win the second 7-6(3). Kelli Travenetti also went to tiebreaker in the first set and to win the match. She won 6-7(1), 6-3, (10-3). The JV girls won two of the extra matches, with the pairs of Tatum Edwards and Travenetti and Stephanie Milliron & Ashley Johnston each winning by identical 8-6 scores.
