Little League Softball 2011-05-14 @ Volunteer Park

Saturday afternoon we were able to get to a pair of Little League softball games at Volunteer Park near the pool.

First were the Minor Volcanoes vs South Whidbey. They played hard at there were a lot of dirty faces at the end of the game! At least it didn't rain and the sun was out for most of the game.

Next were two of the three North Whidbey Junior softball teams, the Mariners and Angels. After a short delay due to a missing umpire, the game finally got started. The Mariners were able to get some hits and score runs while the Angels used smart baserunning to earn several runs by stealing home.

Again, lots of tired and dusty girls at the end of the game.
