The OHHS JV Football team got on the winning track Monday after school by defeating the visiting Arlington Eagles 28-12.
Arlington got on the board first, scoring in the 1st quarter. The PAT kick failed, and Arlington led 6-0 with 6:16 remaining.
On the first play after the Arlington kickoff, Oak Harbor's Gage Eccleston took the ball 80 yards up the middle to tie the game. The OH PAT also failed, leaving the score at 6-6 with 5:55 left in the first quarter.
The Wildcats scored early in the 2nd quarter and converted the 2-point attempt to make it 14-6 with 9:48 left in the half and never trailed again, winning 28-12.
