After cancellation of the 9am games due to a local thunder and lightning show, some of Saturday's games got started around 10am.
With just a week left in the fall season, it's easy to see the improvement made over the last 7 weeks, at all levels, due to the commitment of the volunteers that make the North Whidbey Soccer Club work. From the board, to the coaches, the players and the parents - you all made a difference in the lives of Oak Harbor's children.
Of course, you can't have a soccer game without a referee. Please thank the officials after your next game. Most of them are high school students to give up their Saturday mornings mostly out of a love for the game of futbol.
Photos from 3 U-8 games from this past Saturday are posted below. All of the U-6 teams have been photographed, along with all of the GU-8 teams. Next Saturday we'll concentrate of completing the remaining BU-8 teams.
BU-8 Blue Tigers vs Red Wolf Pack
GU-8 Green Shamrocks vs Pink Pixies
GU-8 Red Thunders vs Purple Fireballs
