Finally we were able to get to a JV girls golf event - the last one of the year.
Originally, it was to be a 4-team event, but by start time it was just Snohomish and Oak Harbor. A total of 9 golfers took to the course, and at the end of 9 holes, Oak Harbor came out on top by 10 strokes, 234-244.
On the varsity front, the girls won the last regular meet of the year. Their stroke count was 253, Glacier Peal 261 and host Stanwood 301.
Today at 1pm the girls golfers are at the Whidbey Golf Course for the Wesco 3A championships. Oak Harbor's Joanna Leete is a favorite to win the tournament.
JV Photos are posted HERE.
After today's league meet, it's off to Districts at Snohomish on May 20th and 21st, then to State.
