The girls had a rough week last week as the weather would not cooperate. As a result, the girls got to play only one game, and this week have games every day except Thursday. Thankfully, three of the games will be played at OHHS.
On Tuesday the 6th, the girls were in Everett and could not re-ignite the offense from the Shorewood game and fell 14-1. The JV squad also lost, 15-8.
Monday, on a perfect day for softball, Oak Harbor played even with the visiting Scots for 4 innings, but a late-game rally by Shorecrest let the Scots escape with a 12-7 victory. On the plus side, Oak Harbor's bats came alive, rapping a total of 11 hits, with a pair of doubles and a pair of triples. There was no JV game.
Today, May 13th, the girls host Stanwood, with the varsity at OHHS. No JV game is scheduled.
Wednesday the girls hit the road, traveling to Pilchuck, then return home for the final game of the season against Getchell, with varsity at OHHS and JV at Hillcrest.
