Wrestling 2015-02-07 - Girls subregional at Burlington-Edison HS

Amber Cramsey-Behnke puts a power half on Stanwood's Jailee Mercedes in the 3rd place match.

 

 

While the boys were in Stanwood, the girls were closer to home, at the all-class tournament in Burlington.

Seven girls went to the tournament, 3 are moving on to the regional tournament this Saturday at Bellingham HS with one more as an alternate.

Amber Cramsey-Behnke was the Wildcat's highest placer, finishing in 3rd place.  Meredith Bain was 5th and Isabel Garcia 6th.  Going as an alternate is Caitlin Woodworth.

At regionals, the top 4 wrestlers move on to the Mat Classic in the Tacoma Dome.
