XC 2015-09-24 at SVC

The Wildcats went Mt. Vernon last Thursday for a tri-meet against Mt. Vernon and Stanwood and ran some good races.

The girls team race was very close, with Stanwood on top of Oak Harbor by just 3 points, 36-39.  While the race wasn't won by a Wildcats, Alexis Smith, Carolynn Wicker and Tamia Rios finished 2-3-5 to help the OH point total.

For the boys, it was also a 3-point margin of victory in team scoring, with Oak Harbor on top over Mt. Vernon 28-31.  Miguel Guzman and Jake Hucko went 1-2 in the race, Michael Lym and Tyler Grehan were 5th and 7th for the 'Cats.

Oct 1st the teams travel to Lake Stevens for a 5-team meet, then host their one and only home meet on Thursday, October 8th at City Beach Park.
