It was a 3-team sweep for the Wildcats Tuesday evening at OHHS as they hosted the Marysville Getchell Chargers.
The Freshman team played some of their best volleyball winning 2 games of the 3-set match and the JV team swept their series 3-0.
In the varsity match, Getchell scored the first point, but before you could blink it was 5-2 Wildcats after a Kayleigh Harper kill. Later, Kelsey Rankin got the serve with the Wildcats leading 11-4, and she continued to serve until the score was 24-4. Getchell only got one more point in the game, off a Wildcat error. OH won the first game 25-5.
Things got a little better in the 2nd and 3rd games for Getchell, but the Wildcats still completely dominated both games, winning them by identical scores of 25-12 and sweeping the match 3-0.
The girls travel to Pilchuck on Tuesday then host Stanwood on Thursday the 11th, hoping to get revenge after losing in the Spartans' gym 3-0.
In addition, on Thursday the team will be wearing pink jerseys as part of breast cancer awareness month.
