Boys basketball youth camp at OHHS

I went up to the high school today for the first day of a 3-day youth summer basketball camp run by Coach Washington. Assisting him was Freshman coach Justin Ronning and two players, Trace and Connor Paul.

The camp started with the Paul twins leading the group of 12 or so 4th-6th graders on a short run around the gym for a couple of laps, then Coach Ronning put the group through a number of ball handling drills, including dribbling while sitting down, dribbling with only the fingertips, and some between-the-legs drills.

The camp continues from noon-2pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
