The Oak Harbor Wildcats opened their 2011 season with a slugfest vs visiting Mt. Vernon.
The Bulldogs took an early 4-0 lead after 3 straight hits in the bottom of the 1st inning, but the Wildcats came back, batting around the order to take a 7-4 lead.
The game never finished, but was called on account of darkness, and the game ended a 17-17 tie.

Next up for baseball is next week, hosting Monroe on Thursday, March 24th. The JV team plays at home this afternoon vs Mariner.
