Gillian Crossley knows her way around the net.
The Oak Harbor
High School soccer sensation, also a goal-scoring weapon for the GU18
Whidbey Islanders club team, banged home her team's lone goal against
Mountlake Terrace.
Crossley's score, which came from just outside the box, wasn't enough, however, as the Wildcats were nipped 2-1.
The deciding goal came off of a corner kick late in the second half.
The 'Cat JV fared a bit better, eking out a 2-2 draw.
Camryn
Ray tallied Oak Harbor's first goal, taking advantage of a mistake by
the Terrace keeper, who lost control of the ball in front of the net.
Jessica Vester capped the scoring, drawing the keeper out too far, then slipping the ball past her at the last second.
