Girls Soccer 2013-09-14 at Mt. Vernon

Saturday the girls had a rare daytime game, played Saturday afternoon in Mt. Vernon.

The JV squad got a nice win, and the Varsity team looked on their way to a victory.  Lydia Peplinski scored late in the second half, and ball-stopping machine Kenzie Perry stopped shot after shot on the Wildcat goal.  Until the final 2 minutes.  A Bulldog player was able to break free and went 1-on-1 with Perry, and was able to shoot left when Perry juked right, leading to a very unsatisfying 1-1 tie.

The soccer girls are at home this Thursday, Sep 19th, opening league play against Marysville-Pilchuk.
