Girls Soccer update

After a promising start to the season, including sweeping their Whidbey Island neighbors, the Oak Harbor girls soccer team dropped a pair of matches this past week.

Tuesday the girls took on the 5-1 Marysville Getchell Chargers and had trouble getting through a tough Getchell defense, losing 5-0.  On the same night the JV squad also could not find the goal and fell 2-0.

Two days later the 0-5-1 Everett Seagulls came to Oak Harbor and gave the Everett team their first win of the season, falling 4-0.  The JV squad was blanked 2-0.

This coming week the girls take on the 1-4 Stanwood Spartans on Tuesday, then the 4-1-1 Shorecrest Scots on Thursday.  Both games are at home.
