Update on Nikki Mowbray

Nikki went down in the final minutes of Saturday's game vs Kamiak after taking an elbow to her jaw, causing it to dislocate.

The team went to visit her after practice Monday, and it appears she will recover fully. At the hospital, doctors were able to 'snap' the jaw back into place with no need for any procedure except anesthesia. Her mouth is still very sore, so she's not talking much, but seemed to enjoy the other girls' visit.

However, she is lost to the team for the rest of the season, and may miss a significant portion of softball as well.
