It was another full day of kids soccer at the lower Ft. Nugent fields on a beautiful, sunny fall morning.
There are photos from 4 games from last weekend available.
The first game was Krieg Construction's Green Bullets against the Black Tigers, sponsored by the Oak Harbor Lions. It was a Boys U-6 game so you know there was a lot of action.
72 photos are HERE.
Next up was the Black Bombs, sponsored by AAA Mini Storage and Beck Carpet Cleaning's Yellow Jackets. This GU-6 game also active, as at this age the girls are just as aggressive as the boys.
46 images are posted HERE.
Third was a Girls U-8 game featureing the Blue Gorillas, sponsored by Midway Florist and the Yellow Killer Bees, sponsored by Olson Pediatric Dentist. At this level you start to see more skilled playing and is a lot of fun to watch.
There are 78 pictures from this matchup posted HERE.
Finally, we went to a BU-10 game. We didn't get the team names, but the Blue team, sponsored by Best Friends Veterinary Clinic took on the Green team, sponsored by Henry Vasquez, Dentist. By this age, the boys are showing a lot of skills, and the better and more experienced players start to break out and take control of the game. It's very aggressive soccer.
30 images from the BU-10 game can be found by clicking HERE.
Remember, there is no charge to come watch the hundreds of kids running around enjoying the outside. Also, remember to patronize your sponsors!
