Middle School Cross Country 2014-10-08 at City Beach

The first of two home meets for the OHMS/NWMS Wildcat United (WU) combined Cross Country team was last Wednesday at City Beach Park over a 1.5 mile course.  Other team competing were Conway, Mt. Vernon and Cascade.

We apologize in advance for any spelling mistakes in the names.  They are all handwritten results.

The only Wildcat United race winner that day was Jenny Danielson, who won the 7th grade girls race in 9:21.  Conway picked up the 2nd place spot at 9:33, then it was a stream of Wildcats in 3rd through 7th place - Cat Wicker, Addy Day, Gracie Upchurch, Chanette Sheld and Leielle Salinger.

Rounding out the top 10 for WU were Patti Meissner and Haley Riffel.

Other 7th grade finishers were Frances Empinado, Kyra Pitts, Natalie Plush, Schelby Heston, Abigail Payne, Malena Hannaham, Marissa Barber, Sarah Mensah, Natalie Halverson and Ashley Berry.

For the 7th grade boys, L. Impassett was the first WU runner, finishing in 4th overall with a time of 9:30.  Right behind him were Shamus Warden and Payton Horn in 5th and 6th.

Rounding out the 7th grade boys were John Shelor, Trenton Fisher, Hayden Musle, Mason Fields, Jonathan Rochey, Ridgely Briddell, Luke Turner, David Harrington, Zach Bertram and Andrew Lof.

The top WU 8th grade girl was Natalie Hahn, overall in 4th place in a time of 11:18.  Also in the top 10 were Maggie Jappert, Hally Parker, and Bri Gagum.

Other 8th grade girls were Asiah Erickson, Emily Petty, Amy Diamond, Stephany Flores and Lexi Peters.

Finally, the 8th grade boys.  Dylan Rydell was 2nd overall in 8:55.  Blake Servatius was 5th and Ben Knoll 6th to round out the top 10.

Other 8th grade boys in the field of 42 were Dawson Seabolt, Destin Mansikka, Ethan Lang, Logan Ince, Caleb Hunter, Jared Johnston, Pablo Closson, Carl Davis, Derek Gilbert, Liam Gore and Ansel Schwarz.
