Youth football 2015-08-15

The 2015 sports seasons kicked off last Saturday with the annual youth football Jamboree at Burlington High School.

Oak Harbor is fielding 7 teams this year, 2 each of PeeWee, Midget and Juniors, and one Senior team.

On Saturday, the Juniors and Seniors played in the morning session, with each team playing four 25-minute scrimmages against other teams from the North Cascade Youth Football League.

In the afternoon it was the Midgets and PeeWees, with the final scrimmage wrapping up shortly after 6pm.

Regular season games start on Aug 22 with the Senior team, both PeeWee and both Midget teams playing at home at Ft. Nugent.  Game times are 9, 11, 1, 3 and 5pm.
