BBB 2015-12-04 vs Shorecrest

by David Svien

Dyllan Harris went off, but it wasn't enough.

The Oak Harbor High School senior poured in a game-high 30 Friday, Dec. 4, but the Wildcat boy's basketball squad still got stomped by visiting Shorecrest.

The 92-67 loss dropped the Wildcats to 0-2 on the young season.

Things started off nicely, with Harris dropping 10 in the opening quarter, as Oak Harbor staked itself to an 18-10 lead.

Even after taking a 25-15 hit in the second, the Wildcats were within a bucket at the break, but the visitors continued to pour it on in the second half, dropping 24 in the third, then punctuating things with a 33-point fourth quarter.

Josh Cote banged home 14 and Adam Nelson dropped in 10 in support of Harris.

JV loses:

TJ Hollins-Passmore went for a team-high 15 and Marcus Carr chipped in with 12, but the Wildcats couldn't hang with the Scots, who ran away for a 63-44 win.

C Team falls:

E'Lijah Rabideau put on a show, torching the nets for 26, as the Shorecrest freshman captured a 66-35 victory.

Oak Harbor was led by Dorian Hardin and Terrell Crumpton, who scored nine apiece. Ben Knoll added six, hitting on a pair of three-point bombs.

Please be as accurate as you can with the individual scores. Austin Boesch had 13 points which included 3 three-pointers and 2 two pointer to lead all scorers. These kids work so hard to get where they are going and love to see there results posted. It's quite demoralizing to try and see the results not even mentioned or not posted correctly!

According to the official book, Austin Boesch was credited with only 3 points. If the book is not correct, contact the coach.
