Oak Harbor Youth Football

I was at the OHYFL agility and cheer camp this past Saturday, July 19th, and it looked like a good turnout.

On the football side, there were over 100 boys from 5 to 14 divided into age brackets. There wasn't any hitting, but lots of running and skill work.

There are now enough older boys to form a second, and perhaps a third junior team, but there's one problem: Not enough coaches. If you, or anyone you know, knows a little about football and a lot about leadership, please contact the OHYFL staff and offer your services. You won't regret it!

On the lower field, 7 girls from the OHHS Cheer team were working with over 40 girls on the basic cheer moves. The girls were having a lot of fun, and a couple of the smaller girl even got a chance to get airborne!

Photos have been posted for both the cheerleaders and football players. As is my practice with youth sports, there are no names associated with any of the photos, so you'll have to go through them all to see if there is a photo of your child. Sorry.
