BBB 2009-12-01 @ Sedro-Woolley

While the girls team was battling Mountlake Terrace at home, the boys were at Sedro Woolley for their season opener.

No information is available from the JV or Freshman games.

The varsity game started out close, with Oak Harbor holding a small 17-16 lead, but the boys turned up the defensive heat to lead 35-18 at halftime. The pressure continued in the 3rd period as the Wildcats held Sedro to 8 points again while scoring 20 of their own. At the final buzzer it was Oak Harbor 71, Sedro Woolley 47.

Mike Washington, Jr. led the Wildcats with 21 points, and Denzel Hardin (17) and Jay Stout (10) were also in double figures. A total of 8 different players scored points. Colbey Anter and Stevie Bratt had 6 each, Ryan Fakkema 5, Rashaad Smith 4 and Trace Paul 2.

The boys home opener is this Friday against Glacier Peak, who returns every single player from last years' team. Come down, be proud and be loud!!
