Youth football 2013-09-28

Four of the five OHYFL teams were in action this past weekend, with the junior Pumas having a bye, and two of those games were at Ft. Nugent.

The Seniors and PeeWees were at home and both posted wins to maintain their undefeated seasons.  The Wildcats beat Sedro-Woolley 25-0 and the Bobcats beat Sedro White 25-15.

On the road, the midget Cougars went all the way to Friday Harbor and came away with a 36-0 victory.

Finally, the Jaguars went up against one of the best teams in the league, and while falling 32-12, showed a lot of heart by not giving up and scoring twice in the second half.

Next week there are two home games - both junior teams, the Pumas and Jaguars are at Ft. Nugent, with the 2-2 Pumas going first at 2:30pm against Anacortes (1-3), then at 4:30 it's the 2-3 Jags taking on 5-0 Bellingham.

On the road, it's the Wildcats at LaConner, Cougars at Stanwood Black and Bobcats at Stanwood Red.
