Saturday was very successful for Oak Harbor wrestlers, as all 7 boys and 1 girl wrestler are moving on to this weekend's State Tournament at the Tacoma Dome.

In Bellingham at the girls Region 1 tournament, there were highs and lows.  On the high side, sophomore Amber Cramsey-Behnke won by pin in two of her matches and will be going on to state as the #4 seed from Region 1.

On the low side, freshman Meredith Bain, who won her first match 8-4, seriously injured her arm in the 2nd match, resulting in a pin and she had to injury default the remainder of the day.  Another Freshman, Caitlynn Woodworth injured a knee and had to default her 5th/6th place match.

Senior Desquitado and Freshman O'Brien both lost their first two matches.
