It wasn't a good day for Wildcat Volleyball as the four seniors - Emily, Marisa, Devin and Melany - were recognized, along with their parents, before Wednesday night's match.
Snohomish dominated all 3 teams, with the Wildcats able to reach 20 points in only a single game out of the 9 played.
The freshman scores were 15-25, 18-25 and 18-25
JV was 14-25, 17-25 and 14-25
In varsity action, the girls played better than the scores indicated. For most of all 3 games the 'Cats were right in it, but fell behind late. Amanda Blau had a good match with 5 blocks to go with her 5 kills. Marisa Sutherland had a spectacular kill when she attacked a Snohomish overpass. It was fun to watch.
In the end, however, Oak Harbor was swept by the Panthers 16-25, 15-25, 20-25.
