With most OH teams on the road, getting rained out, the only action in town was the JV baseball game that took place despite some strong winds and occasional rain.
After a slow first inning, the Wildcat bats were smoking in the 2nd, as the team batted around and scored 6 runs to take a 6-0 lead.
In the top of the 4th inning, Stanwood mounted a comeback to close the score to 5-6, but the Wildcat bats kept cracking and the JV squad won by a final score of 10-6.
The win improves the JV record to 4-6 while Stanwood drops to 6-3 in league play.
