Golf - Week ending 4-25-2014

Both the boys and girls teams played twice this past week.

On Monday the 21st, the boys finished in 2nd place in a tournament, the on Tuesday traveled down the island to the Useless Bay Golf Course to play South Whidbey HS and Monroe.  While a Monroe golfer won medalist honors, Mac Kerfoot's 2nd place finish helped boost the 'Cats to a team victory.

For the girls, Joanna Leete continued her winning ways.  She was the Medalist on Tuesday in Lynnwood although Glacier Peak won the event (by only 6 strokes).

On Monday, she teamed up with a girl from another school to win a tournament in Mukilto.  Rosie Mooki was also in the tournament and finished in 7th with her partner.

The girls have one last home meet, on May 1st with the first group teeing off at 3pm.

This year the girls 3A Wesco championship tournament will be held in Oak Harbor at the Whidbey Golf Club.  The tournament starts at 1pm.

The boys play their final home round on Tuesday the 29th of April.  Their league tournament will be held at the Kayak Point Golf Course.
