They did it again.
Playing their second straight 5-game match, the Oak Harbor girls team won the 5th and deciding match.
This time, though, the didn't have to win 3 in a row to win that final game.
Oak Harbor won the first 25-17, lost the second 21-25, got the 3rd 25-21 then lost a very close 4th game 26-24. In the 5th game, the 'Cats won handily, 15-9 for the 3-2 victory.
The Wildcats will now face Ferndale, for the 3rd time this season. Ferndale found themselves down 2-0 in their loser-out match against Glacier Peak, but ripped off 3 straight wins to capture the match 3-2.
The OH-Ferndale match will be at 3pm this Saturday at Marysville-Pilchuck HS. The winner gets the 3rd and final District 1 spot in the state tournament, the season ends for the other team.
