Girls Golf

I went to watch some of the varsity girls competition on Tuesday to take some pictures, and have some results from the JV competition yesterday. Here's what I got.


There were 6 varsity golfers on Tuesday, among them Shelbey Hamming, Tiffany Earnhart, Melanie Cone, and Simone Hamilton. I don't know the names of the other two girls, sorry. Brittany Loveng did not golf that day.


It was a rather slow round of 18 holes, taking over 4 hours. The course was wet and squishy, and on several drives that landed on the fairway, I saw splashes rather than bounces.

The only individual info I have is on Shelbey Hamming, who scored a par on at least 2 holes in the back nine. I only saw one bunker shot by an OH golfer, but will keep her anonymous.

In JV action from Wednesday, a nice performance was turned in by Kara Stratton with 18 Stableford points. Other golfers on JV that day were Kay, Ashley, Sasha, Jasmine, and Mara. Sorry, I wasn't there and don't have pictures. It was do my taxes day.
