OHMS and NWMS hosted Cascade and Concrete Middle schools at the NWMS track Wednesday afternoon.
It was a great day for track, with sunny skies, and weather warm, but cool enough that the runners weren't overheating.
I don't have much to report, as I wasn't really watching most events, but a couple things I did see were Justin Everett totally smoking in the 200m dash and Matt Reith kicking some serious butt in the 800 and 1600 meter runs.
Dominique Jackson (DJ, as she's known) did well on the girls side, heaving the shot put for a distance of over 23 feet. I'm looking for good things from her once she gets to high school!
If there were any other outstanding performances, let me know and I'll write about them!
