Friday afternoon the boys JV tennis team was at home and the varsity on the road, both taking on Mountlake Terrace.
In JV action, the Wildcats won at 2nd doubles and 4th singles. In the singles match, Jared Hunt defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-4 and the doubles team of Aaron Skiff and Max VanDam also won by the same score.
The Wildcats were forced to forfeit at 3rd doubles, giving the Hawks a 5-2 win.
At Mountlake Terrace, the Wildcats swept through the singles matches and picked up two of the doubles matches to win 6-1.
In singles action, William Southard won 6-3, 6-3, David Kusnick 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, Carter Saar 6-4, 7-5 and Harrison Miller 6-1, 6-0.
Casiano Atienza and Antonio Unpingco won at 2nd doubles 6-4, 6-2 and the team of Tom Dale and Jacob Nelson won 7-5, 6-0.
The varsity squad opens home play Monday, September 10th vs Stanwood.
