3 weekends into the season and we finally got out to get some photos of the youth soccer games at Ft. Nugent Park. As usual, there were hundreds of kids in brightly colored uniforms running all over the fields, getting sweaty and dirty and just having fun. And, of course, most of the teams have original and sometimes unusual team names.
In BU-6 action the Red Cobras faced off against the Orange Komodo Dragons. 58 photos are posted HERE. The Komodo Dragons are sponsored by AAA Climate Control Mini Storage.
14 photos of the Light Blue Dragons vs the Dark Blue Tigers are posted HERE. There are only 14 as only the last few minutes were photographed. The Blue Dragons have Island Family Hearing Clinic as there sponsor and the Blue Tigerss have Martin Auto Electric. We'll get more at future games.
65 photos of the Blue Lightning Bears vs the Grey Sonics are HERE.
Two GU-6 teams are featured this week. The Purple Cheetah Girls vs Green Stinging Nettles were first. The Cheetah Girls are sponsored by Whidbey Vision Clinic and the Stinging Nettles by (appropriately), Whidbey Florist. This game has 44 photos posted HERE.
HERE are 57 photos of the Pink Pinkettes, sponsored by Angelo's Cafe against the Blue Ocean with David Walker, Attorney, as sponsor.
GU-8 teams are the Nautilus Construction's Black Wasps vs the Lime Lizards. 56 photos from this game are posted HERE.
The Red Hot Lava took on the Oak Harbor Elks Lodge's Purple Pixies and 41 photos are posted HERE.
Finally, the Pink Raspberry Rockets took on the Teal Dolphins with 73 images posted HERE.
