GBB 2012-09-30 Fall League

Members of the OHHS girls basketball team that are participating in the Skagit Parks and Rec fall league played a doubleheader last Sunday at Sedro Woolley HS against a pair of teams from Canada.  In the first game they played the U17 open AthElite team and in the second another U17 AthElite team.

The first game was a blowout, with the Wildcats falling 48-26.

In the second game, the 'Cats, even with only 7 girls available and playing their second game in a row, held their own against the Canadian visitors.  At halftime OH was down 18-16, and with less than a minute to go the girls were down by only one point, 34-33, but could not get a shot off before the horn sounded.

The girls have games every Sunday until November 4th, will all but one remaining games at Skagit Valley College in Mt. Vernon.

A few video clips from the game are posted HERE.
