Track got started Thursday with the annual Island Jamboree, featuring all three Whidbey high schools plus Lakewood.
It's wasn't a full meet, and several events were discarded, including the 4x100 relay and 300m hurdles, but one fun event was added. At the end of the day was the thrower's relay, featuring all shot putters and discus throwers in a 4x100 relay race.
Oak Harbor had a good day, winning several events and placing in many more.
