Girls Soccer 2015-09-24 vs Edmonds-Woodway

Thursday night the varsity soccer team faced off against defending State Champion Edmonds-Woodway and came "this" close to upsetting the champs.

Jenna Cooley found the corner of the net on a deflected pass less than a minute into the game.

E-W tied the game on a penalty kick that nobody knew about until the ref put the ball on the PK spot. 

After halftime, EdWay showed why they are the champs, dominating on defense and putting in another goal past the Wildcat keeper to make it 2-1, which would be the final score.

In JV action, the Warriors were too much for a young Wildcat JV squad, winning 5-0.
