VB 2015-09-21 vs Arlington

They were loud, they were proud, they didn't give up.

Finding themselves down 2-0 in a best-of-five match against Arlington, the Oak Harbor volleyball girls dug deep and found that something....that something that let them overcome the deficit to capture the match 3-2.

Although playing with a lot of fire in the first two games, the Wildcats couldn't get it done, falling 25-10 and 25-16, but in a back-and-forth 3rd game, OH pulled out the 25-20 win, then won game four to tie the match at 2.

In the 5th and deciding game, the Wildcats were down early, but got a lead late.  Spurred by a late service ace by Clair Anderson, the 'Cats went on to win 15-10.

Unfortunately, the JV and freshman squads did fare so well, both falling 3-0.

JV game scores were 12-25, 12-25, 19-25, while Freshman scores were 12-25, 16-25, 11-25.

The volleyball teams won't play at home again until October 1st, when they host league-leading Glacier Peak.

Before that, they have two road matches, at Shorecrest on Wednesday the 23rd and at Meadowdale on Tuesday the 29th.
