Girls Swim 2015-09-15 vs Snohomish & GP

The Girls Swim season started with a long trip down to the brand-new Snohomish Aquatic Center to take on the Panthers of Snohomish and Grizzlies of Glacier Peak, and came away with a split.

In team scoring, the Wildcats crushed Snohomish 105-73, but fell to Glacier Peak 98-84.

More importantly were the district meet qualifying times posted by 6 of the Oak Harbor swimmers, and in a variety of events.

In the 100 backstroke, 3 girls qualified - Marissa Morris, Erica Sugatan and Baelee Whitinger.  Sugatan also qualified in the 200 IM and Morris in the 200 free.

Other 2-event qualifiers were Taliah Black (200IM and 100 breast) and Jillian Pape (50 free adn 100 fly.  Sophie Dickinson qualified in the 500 free.

Next for the Wildcat girls is a trip to Everett for a dual meet against the Seagulls.

The first home meet is Monday, September 21st against Stanwood, followed a week later with another home meet on Sep 28th against both Marysville schools.

Admission is free for all home swim meets!
