Girls Golf 5-7 at Battle Creek GC

The OHHS varsity golf team squeaked out a close win over Lake Stevens Thursday afternoon at the Battle Creek Golf Course.

The Wildcats were led by medalist Melany Cone with 39 Stableford points. She was followed by Simone Hamilton and Kara Stratton with 30 each, Ashley Johnson with 28 and Shelbey Hamming with 22.

In the 15 holes played, the OH girls scored a total of 149 points, just 3 more than the Vikings. Cascade was a distant 3rd with 50.
