There wasn't much to cheer about at OHHS after the girls tennis team finished playing the Snohomish Panthers.
The Panthers came in with an 11-3 record, and although they won 5-2, it could have easily gone 4-3 for the Wildcats.
#1 and 2 singles, Jen Jansen and Erin Neilon both won, although Erin had to go into a tiebreaker in the 2nd set before winning 7-5.
Molly Deleon lost the 1st set in a tiebreaker 7-5 score and the 2nd set by a close 6-4 score. After her match, the Snohomish coach sought her out to compliment her on her play.
At #4 singles, Katie O'Dell took her opponent to a 3rd set before falling 4-6 and at #1 doubles, the team of Laurin Rico and Valerie Loders went into tiebreaker in the 1st set before losing 7-6(2), and couldn't get back into it in the 2nd.
