Track - 5-4 - Freshman Championships @ Arlington

On Monday, May 4th, the WESCO North Freshman championship track meet was held at Arlington High School, and OHHS had a number of top-10 finishes.

On the boys side, Josiah Miller won both the 100 and 200m dash, was a member of the winning 4x100 meter relay, and finished 4th in the long jump.

Matt Reith was first in the 3200 and 1600, and 3rd in the 800.

Michael Mack, Chris Opdyke, Justin Everett and Jalen Williams were 7-8-9-10 in the 100m dash.

In the 200, Justin Everett was 3rd, Chris Opdyke 8th and Jalen Williams 9th.

Chris Opdyke was the only Wildcat in the 400, finishing 3rd.

Michael McGinnis was 9th in the 800m run.

Justin Everett was 3rd in the shot put, Chris Steele 5th in the discus, Cody Hernkind 10th in the long jump and Michael Mack 3rd in the triple jump.

The girls had only 1 winner, Maura McKole in the 200m and 400m dash. Maura was 7th in the 100m.

Christina Alexander was 2nd in the 100 and 3rd in the 200. She also finished 4th in the triple jump and 6th in the long jump.

Emily Bain and Heather Dale finished 8-9 in the 800, and Taylor VonGrey and Bain were 8-9 in the 1600.

Hannah Bressler was 5th in the 100m hurdles and 4th in the 300m hurdles.

DJ was 2nd in the discus and 3rd in the shot put while McKole finished 6th in the high jump.
