Track 2011-03-24 @ OHHS

Stanwood and Lake Stevens, a pair of WESCO North 4A schools came to Wildcat Memorial Stadium for Oak Harbor's first home meet of the year.

The OH girls team won the event with a team score of 81 and the boys team was in second with 45.33, behind Lake Stevens. Complete results are posted HERE.

Winners on the boys side were Josiah Miller in the 100 and 200 (teammate Aaron Boesch finished 2nd in the 100 and 3rd in the 200). Matt Reith won the 3200 after running most of the race in 3rd place. He made his move with 2 laps remaining and won by 15 seconds.

Jeremy Foster won the shot put with a throw of 43-7 and Miller took the triple jump with a 41-5 leap.

For the girls it was Janessa Ramos and Christina Alexander finishing 1-2 in the 100m dash, then switching places to finish 2-3 in the 2oo. Christina Wicker won the 100m dash, Addy Royal the 1600m run, and Allison Duvenez won both hurdle events, the 100 and 300. Oak Harbor also finished 1-2 in the 4x100 relay.

In field events, Oak Harbor was able to snag only one win, with senior Katelyn Bristow getting first in the triple jump.
