Girls Soccer update 2015-10-09

Last week was busy for the soccer girls as they played 3 games over 9 days, including a rare Friday night game against Anacortes.

On Sept 30th the girls went to Marysville to take on Pilchuck with both JV (3-0) and Varsity (2-0) falling to the Tomahawks.

Friday the 2nd of October saw the girls in Anacortes, where the JV team got a very nice 6-0 victory and varsity a 3-1 win.

After nearly a week off, they returned to play on Thursday the 8th.  The JV squad fell to visiting Meadowdale 1-0.  The varsity squad got a quick goal and led for much of the first half before the Mavericks tied the game at 1.  The score remained tied until the final minute, when Meadowdale was able to scoot a ball past the OH keeper on a corner kick to leave with the 2-1 win.

There's three more home games left in the regular season, on Oct 13th vs Mountlake Terrace, Oct 22 vs Shorewood and Oct 28th vs Everett.

They also have 3 games on the road - 10/15 at Shorecrest, 10/20 at Glacier Peak and 10/26 at Lynnwood.
