Boys Soccer

Although the regular season ended on a sour note, with losses to Meadowdale at home and Pilchuck on the road, and losing players due to injury, the Wildcats made it to the playoffs.

On Senior Night against Meadowdale, the 'Cats looked good early, but a couple of goals by Meadowdale had Oak Harbor playing catchup most of the night, and Meadowdale held off the 'Cats to win 3-1.  In the JV game Oak Harbor had no answer for a strong Maverick offense and lost 6-1.

At Pilchuck the OH varsity lost 2-1 and the JV 2-0 to end the regular season.

Their first game, on Saturday the 10th was against at strong Shorecrest team who defeated the Wildcats 8-0 earlier in the season.  This time the boys played much better, but were on the short end of a 3-0 score.

Still alive, Oak Harbor plays again, against the loser of another first-round game, Meadowdale.  The game will be played tonight, May 13th, at Wildcat Memorial Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 7pm.  This is the final chance for both teams - win and stay in the tournament, lose and the season is over.
