Softball 2014-05-16

After a series of delays caused by the weather, the Oak Harbor Wildcat softball team played their final games of the season this past week.

Tuesday the girls played Stanwood and saw some success on offense, pushing 3 runs across the plate, but in the end it was Stanwood 9, OH 3. 

The next day the girls hit the road to Marysville to take on Wesco #1 Pilchuck and were on the short end of a 10-0 score.

In the final game, Getchell grabbed an early 4-2 lead, but Oak Harbor came back in the 4th and led 5-4, but Getchell came back hot and scored 9 runs to regain the lead and never looked back, winning 16-6 in 6 innings.

On the JV side, only two games were played, at Pilchuck (OH lost a 13-14 heartbreaker), and at home against Getchell (9-14 loss) to complete the season.
