OHYFL Youth football 2013-10-12

All five teams were action this past Saturday, most successful in their games.

First off, the Peewee Bobcats played Stanwood Black in the first of a 2-game playoff, winning 12-6 to set up a championship game this coming Saturday at Mt. Vernon HS against Mt. Vernon.  Time is TBD, but there are already games scheduled for 9, 11 and 1pm, so expect a 3pm game.

Also at home, the Wildcats whipped Friday Harbor 47-6 to improve to 7-0 and the Cougars fell to Lakewood 20-10.

On the road, the Pumas faced off against Stanwood Black and lost 44-20.

In the game before that, the Jaguars got a nice win over Stanwood Red, 34-20.

Jaguars photos are posted HERE.

The regular season comes to a close this Saturday, with all teams playing at home (except the Bobcats as mentioned above).

Starting at 9am the 5-2 Cougars take on the 2-5 Burlington Tigers
At 11am it's the 7-0 Wildcats against 6-1 Bellingham Red
1pm is the 2-4 Pumas vs 2-4 Friday Harbor
In the 3pm nightcap, it's the 3-4 Jaguars and the Concrete Lions.  The Jags lost to the Lions in the first game of the season and are looking for some revenge.
