The C-Team got its first win of the season on Saturday, beating Anacortes 5-0 after falling to Sedro-Woolley and Mt. Vernon earlier in the week.
Gabe Clark, Justin Counts, Mitch Mertins, and Peter Franssen combined for the three hit shutout.
The Wildcats bats also came alive, doubling their run total for the year. Ben Cardinal led the way going 3 for 4 with a double and one RBI. Patrick Hageman also had a double and Josh Ekberg was 2 for 2 with an RBI.
The Wildcats also buckled down defensively with only one error in the game.
